Distribution Stations are water receiving and storage stations which receive treated water from the Banglen Plant. The quality of water is also tested at each distribution station to ensure that no contamination has occurred. These stations have water pumps which distribute the water through the Local Distribution Network (LDN). This network is 114 km in length, and passes water to the Provincial Water Authority network at 43 connection points. Each distribution station has two magnetic flow meters to record the total quantity of water flow to the Provincial Water Authority. There are two Distribution stations; |
